Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to determine the influence of economic growth and population on poverty in West Tanjung Jabung, both partially and simultaneously, and to determine the magnitude of the influence of economic growth and population on poverty in West Tanjung Jabung, both partially and simultaneously. The data used is secondary data. Data obtained from the BPS Tanjung Jabung Barat website. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing and coefficient of determination. The research results were obtained partially. There is an influence of economic growth on poverty in West Tanjung Jabung Regency in 2017-2021. This is proven by the results of tcount > ttable (-0.870 > -4.303), there is an influence of population on poverty in West Tanjung Jabung Regency in 2017-2021. This is proven by the results tcount > ttable (-0.852 > - 4.303). Simultaneously, there is no significant influence between economic growth and population on poverty in West Tanjung Jabung Regency in 2017-2021. This is proven by the results of Fcount < Ftable (0.593 < 19.00). Partially, the magnitude of the influence of economic growth on poverty in West Tanjung Jabung Regency in 2017-2021 was 19.11% and the population on poverty in West Tanjung Jabung Regency in 2017-2021 was 18.09%. Simultaneously, the magnitude of the influence of economic growth and population on poverty in West Tanjung Jabung Regency in 2017-2021 is 37.2% (the remaining 100% - 37.2% = 62.8%) is influenced by other variables not examined in the research . The magnitude of the influence of economic growth on poverty in West Tanjung Jabung Regency in 2017-2021 is 19.11%. Keywords: Economic growth, population and poverty ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pertumbuhan ekonomi dan jumlah penduduk terhadap kemiskinan di Tanjung Jabung Barat baik secara parsial maupun simultan dan untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh pertumbuhan ekonomi dan jumlah penduduk terhadap kemiskinan di Tanjung Jabung Barat baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder. Data diperoleh dari website BPS Tanjung Jabung Barat. Data dianalis dengan analisis regresi linear berganda, uji hipoteisi dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian diperoleh Secara parsial Terdapat pengaruh pertumbuhan ekonomi terhadap kemiskinan di Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat tahun 2017- 2021. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil thitung > ttabel (-0,870 > -4,303), terdapat pengaruh jumlah penduduk terhadap kemiskinan di Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat tahun 2017-2021. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil thitung > ttabel (-0,852 > -4,303). Secara simultan tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara pertumbuhan ekonomi dan jumlah penduduk terhadap kemisikan di Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat tahun 2017-2021. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil Fhitung < Ftabel (0,593 < 19,00). Secara parsial, besarnya pengaruh pertumbuhan ekonomi terhadap kemiskinan di Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat tahun 2017-2021 adalah 19,11 % dan jumlah penduduk terhadap kemiskinan di Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat tahun 2017- 2021 adalah 18,09 %. Secara simultan besarnya pengaruh pertumbuhan ekonomi dan jumlah penduduk terhadap kemiskinan di Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat tahun 2017-2021 adalah 37,2 % (sisanya sebesar 100 % - 37,2% = 62,8 %) dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian. besarnya pengaruh pertumbuhan ekonomi terhadap kemiskinan di Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat tahun 2017-2021 adalah 19,11 % .
