Abstract

ANALYSIS OF MARKET INTEGRATION AND PRICE TRANSMISSION OF CHILI FARMERS-TRADERS IN KERINCI REGERENCY 2015-2020 REFALYANA NOVELYA ADINDA Supevisor : H. M. AFDHAL CHATRA P. S.E.,M.Ec.,Dev Program Studi Ekonomi Pembangunan Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Sakti Alam Kerinci ABSTRAC This study aims to find out 1. How is the transmission of chili prices at the chili farmer level at the chili trader level in the long term and short term in Kerinci Regency in 2015-2020 2. How is the level of market integration at the chili farmer level and at the chili trader level in Kerinci Regency in 2015-2020. The research methodology used is descriptive quantitative. The type of data used is secondary data obtained from the Department of Agriculture and the Department of Trade of the Kerinci Regency. then the data is processed using Eviews 10. by going through the tests related to the research. The results of the study are: 1. The transmission of chili selling prices at the chili farmer level and at the chili trader level in the long term has a significant effect, where the prob value (f statistic) is 0.000 and R2 is 0.71 which means that the chili price at the trader level is capable explain the variable by 71%. Then in the modeling of 0.93755 with a probability value of C of 0.7775. Transmission of the selling price of chili at the level of chili farmers and chili traders in the short term, where the value of ect is 5% significant and has a significant effect, then the R2 value is 67% which means it also has a significant effect. Then it is -0.001508 seen from the statistical test (prob 0.6775) if farmers do not sell chilies to traders, then the selling price is only 0.0015%, then 0.7566000 shows the correlation value at the level of chili farmers and chili traders is 0.75%. Then -0.183348 states that there is about 18% imbalance that occurs between the variables of farmers and traders. Market integration at the level of chili farmers and chili traders shows a high degree of closeness.
