Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of operational efficiency, capital structure, and firm size on the profitability of PT. Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk for the 2015–2024 period, both partially and simultaneously. The data analysis uses multiple linear regression and the coefficient of determination, with secondary data employed in this research. The method of data analysis in this study is quantitative and descriptive quantitative.The results of the analysis show the equation NPM = 21.682 + 1.029 TATO − 1.265 DER − 1.266 FIRM SIZE. There is no significant partial effect of Total Asset Turnover (TATO) on Net Profit Margin (NPM) at PT. Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk for the 2015–2024 period, as evidenced by t-count < t-table (0.404 < 2.447). There is also no significant partial effect of Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) on NPM, as shown by t-count < t-table (−1.771 < 2.447). Likewise, firm size does not have a significant partial effect on NPM, as indicated by t-count < t-table (−0.507 < 2.447). Simultaneously, TATO, DER, and firm size do not have a significant effect on NPM at PT. Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk for the 2015–2024 period, as evidenced by F-count < F-table (2.300 < 4.76). The coefficient of determination is 0.5343, indicating that 53.43% of the variation in profitability can be explained by the three independent variables, while the remaining portion is influenced by other factors outside the research model.
