Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to determine the effect of Profit Margin Ratio and Size on Company Value with Capital Structure as an intervening variable, the object of this research is PT. Astra International Tbk. 2014-2023. Data analysis uses path analysis which is seen from the square root formed from the Coefficient of Determination (R-Square) value. The data used in this research is secondary data. The data analysis method in this research is descriptive causality which is classified as quantitative research. Based on the results of the previous analysis and discussion, it can be concluded as follows: The direct influence of Profit Margin Ratio on Company Value is 0.23%, while indirectly the Profit Margin Ratio through Capital Structure on Company Value is 0.16%. So it can be concluded that Capital Structure does not act as an intervening variable on Company Value with a total influence of 0.39% and the direct influence between Size through Capital Structure on Company Value is 5.27%, while indirectly between Size through Capital Structure on Company Value is 2.70%. So it can be concluded that Capital Structure does not play a role as an intervening variable on Company Value with a total influence of 7.97%. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Profit Margin Ratio dan Size terhadap Nilai Perusahaan dengan Struktur Modal sebagai variabel intervening,objek dari penelitian ini adalah PT. Astra International Tbk. Tahun 2014-2023. Analisis data menggunakan analisis jalur yang dilihat dari akar kuadrat yang terbentuk dari nilai Koefisien Determinasi (R-Square). Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder. Metode analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kausalitas yang tergolong kepada penelitian kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pembahasan sebelumnya,dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut: Pengaruh langsung antara Profit margin ratio terhadap Nilai perusahaan yaitu sebesar 0,23%, sedangkan secara tidak langsung antara Profit margin ratio melalui Struktur modal terhadap Nilai perusahaan yaitu sebesar 0,16%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Struktur modal tidak berperan sebagai variabel intervening terhadap Nilai perusahaan dengan total pengaruh adalah 0,39% dan Pengaruh langsung antara Size melalui Struktur modal terhadap Nilai perusahaan yaitu sebesar 5,27%, sedangkan secara tidak langsung antara Size melalui Struktur modal terhadap Nilai perusahaan yaitu sebesar 2,70%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Struktur modal tidak berperan sebagai variabel intervening terhadap Nilai perusahaan dengan total pengaruh adalah 7,97%.
